Corporate Impact Investors

Corporate Impact Investors are catalysts for positive change. They are organisations that are committed to strengthening social cohesion, championing ethnic and intersectional diversity in leadership, and empowering diverse young New Zealanders.

  • Invest in Aotearoa New Zealand’s pipeline of diverse, inclusive and purpose-driven future leaders across business, government and community sectors.

  • Back our inclusion and equity commitment to making MYLN projects, initiatives, resources, and individual memberships free and accessible to all young people, not just those who can afford them.

  • Help us position Aotearoa New Zealand as a magnet for world-class, diverse talent.

  • Invest in your own aspiring and emerging young leaders between the ages of 18 and 35. Corporate Impact Investors grant their aspiring young leaders access to MYLN’s culturally tailored events, workshops and programmes. These events, workshops and programmes have been designed and developed by ethnically diverse rangatahi, for ethnically diverse rangatahi (a New Zealand first of its kind).

  • Attend invite-only Corporate Impact Investor events.

  • Collaborate with MYLN on diversity-related projects, campaigns and events.

  • Be visibly recognised as a Corporate Impact Investor on our website, Annual Report and Member Newsletters.

  • Publicly align with our brand, kaupapa, members and mahi.

  • Reach a global network of diverse, ambitious and motivated young New Zealanders who are driving change in Aotearoa and beyond.

  • Create a lasting legacy by supporting a kaupapa that will shape the future of our communities and our country.

  • Reap the social and financial returns of a future where every person can reach their full potential.

NOTE: In order to uphold the quality and consistency of our relationships with Corporate Impact Investor organisations, MYLN caps the number of Corporate Impact Investors at a maximum of 30 organisations at any given time.

Join us on our mission to build the country’s pipeline of diverse, inclusive and purpose-driven future leaders across business, government and community sectors.

Corporate Members are organisations that enable our mahi and back our equity and accessibility commitment, whilst also investing in their own ethnically diverse workforce and talent pipeline. Corporate Members grant their 18-35 year old employees access to select member events and opportunities, including access to Multiethnic Young Leaders’ esteemed 3 Kapu Kawhe™ Mentorship Programme.

We welcome all organisations, including non-profit, community, and public sector organisations, to become Corporate Impact Investors and invest in the future of Aotearoa New Zealand and its young people.

An annual investment of $5,000NZD enables us to carry out our mahi and backs our commitment to equity and accessibility.

To learn more about the benefits of being a Corporate Impact Investor, please see our Corporate Impact Investor Guide or the “Why Become a Corporate Impact Investor” section above.

To ensure that money is never a barrier to access, MYLN does not charge individual membership fees or fees for most events. We rely on the support of Corporate Impact Investors to uphold this commitment and provide opportunities to ethnically diverse young leaders. By becoming a Corporate Impact Investor, your investment helps to back our equity and accessibility commitment.

Corporate Impact Investors’ funds are integral to MYLN’s mission of building a pipeline of diverse, inclusive and purpose-driven future leaders in Aotearoa New Zealand. These funds support our commitment to offering free events, resources, programmes and memberships to aspiring young leaders. This includes the Rangatahi Leadership Opportunities Database (RLOD), the country’s first open-access, single-source community database for young people under 35 looking for youth leadership opportunities in Aotearoa New Zealand.
