Membership

Multiethnic Young Leaders Members are catalysts for positive change. They are individuals committed to strengthening social cohesion, championing ethnic and intersectional diversity in leadership, and empowering diverse young New Zealanders.

In 2024, we combined our two membership streams, Full and Associate Members, into one.

Membership is open to young New Zealanders aged 21-35 at the time of application. Exceptional candidates aged 18-20 may also be considered, at the discretion of the membership committee, based on demonstrated commitment to the organisation’s kaupapa, along with existing industry and leadership experience. Membership is inclusive, not limited by ethnicity, race or background; identification as “ethnically diverse” is not required to engage in our mahi or support our kaupapa as a member.
